# End of Lease Cleaning Checklist

## End of Lease Cleaning Checklist

**Generally:**

- Clean all windows, doors, sliding doors, fly screens and security screens.
- Vacuum all sliding door tracks.
- Sweep or mop all floors and removing any marks.
- Clean carpets and remove any stains (Must use a professional cleaner for carpet cleaner).
- Clean light fittings, remove all cobwebs.
- Clean all marks off walls, light switches.
- Wipe down and remove all dust from skirting boards, picture rails, windowsills etc.
- Ensure that all blinds are clean.
- Clean inside build-in wardrobes and mirrored doors (wipe over scuff marks).

 

**Kitchen:**

- Clean inside, outside the cupboards and the doors.
- Clean inside, outside and around the stove.
- Clean inside, outside and behind the refrigerator (where applicable).
- Clean inside, outside and behind the dishwasher (where applicable).
- Clean the exhaust fans and filter.
- Clean the sink, especially the drain holes.

 

**Bathroom:**

- Sweep or mop all floors, wipe the mirrors and windows.
- Clean inside and outside the cupboards.
- Clean the toilet, bath, shower recess, glass screen and sink.
- Shower curtain washed with bleach or replaced (where applicable).

 

**Laundry:**

- Clean inside, outside and behind the washing machine also rinse out the filter (where applicable).
- Clean inside, outside and behind dryer also remove the lint (where applicable).
- Clean the laundry tub.

 

**Verandah:**

- Sweep and mop, clean railing and any Perspex or glass.
- Remove all cobwebs etc.

 

**Lock-up Garage:**

- Sweep out the floor.
- Empty any wheelie bins and remove all rubbish.
